[WATCH] Part II of 'MY REAL VIVID LIFE's Preface Connects the Past to the Present

"The Preface is The End, Part II" Bridges The Gap Between Past Experiences And The Active Decision To Go Forward with 'My Real Vivid Life'.

In Part II of “The Preface is The End”, Alex Auguste discusses how the lesson on manifesting the life you want takes a wrong direction with the writing and release of a mixtape called, MyRealViciousLife, which was released in 2015. Featuring a dark, gritty, soundtrack that enlisted storytelling through themes of anxiety, post-graduate depression, lust, romance, and ultimately hope, the project came to life months later when Alex’s life took a turn down the wrong path. The true “end” being spoken of in his life during 2020 was more than just a relationship, but instead, was also marked by what he recalls being the end of the “vicious” period of his life. Mentally, emotionally, and physically preparing himself, Alex decides to inch towards 2021 with a rebrand and a new outlook on life, thus beginning “My Real Vivid Life” and initiating a plan to his new company, brand, and lifestyle to fruition.

In this second part to "The Preface is the End", we take it back to 2014 and 2015 to revisit the development and release of an old project of mine, MyRealViciousLife. Featuring quite a bit of songs likely to see their resurface ("Welcome to the World", "More Whiskey, Please", "The Grown Up", just as examples), the project only proved the powerful lesson true:

You brings life to the words you speak and write.

Focusing on the negatives and worries of life and writing about them for the project seemed to only bring those worries and struggles to life. And as those struggles and coincidentally a relationship came to an end, so also came an end to the story that was "the vicious chapter", lending way to the opening and beginning of something new.

2020 was filled with critical decisions. Some of the greatest were: first, trusting myself with grace to start The Unlikely Company with not much of a plan and allow for time, growth, and experience to help shape the company out. Secondly, believing enough in past ideas and creative projects as inspiration and motivation to hone in on the four pillars that would eventually build MRVL WRLD.

By the time this seven-minute preface ends, you'll understand that nothing is coincidence, everything is planned, and that believing in oneself is something that never ends, even once we've discontinued something.

Without the "vicious chapter", there simply is no Vivid Life and no MRVL WRLD.
