[Video] The Week Leading Up to Coilture Freedom Fest Was Wild

In My Latest Vlog, Follow Me Through Art Basel Events, Scenes, and Activities Leading Up to December 10th's Coilture Freedom Festival.

The week leading up to the Coilture Freedom Festival on December 10th in Miami's Overtown Historic District is one that can only be described as "full".

Full of intention. Full of action items, activities, people, and creating.

The Week would quite literally start with me dropping into Natural Trendsetters in Tamarac, Florida to make my way to the final model rehearsal and day-of-show review, and bring me back into the styling seat the very next day to be a model myself. Joining Simone Hylton, I filled in as a model for the shop's segment on South Florida's WSVN-7's Deco Drive.

Using that as a platform to continue boosting and promoting the event, there was heightening anticipation of when the segment would air, but of course, there was still so much work to be done. From editing reels for The Coilture Freedom Festival, Natural Trendsetters, and myself, the remainder of the week was 135mph bullet train that happened to include dropping into a few events as part of the Art Basel and Art Week Miami Weekend.

From Sumthn' Special to Soulection, and some drop ins to Ebony Magazine's Ebony FWD event, my latest vlog entry for My Real Vivid Life captures moments across the week and weekend networking, catching vibes, and preparing for the festival as much as possible. As with any other year, this year included a lot of moving and motion, hitting the traffic-ridden roads, and a lot of B-roll of filled streets and tow trucks getting their appetite's worth of cars that thought they were above the laws of Miami's parking nature.

This Art Basel has been one of the most important Basels for me in quite some time. It's the first time I have hosted an event as an MC for an event during Art Basel Weekend. As a Miami native born and raised in the city, it's been an honor to be recognized for my talents and for my work as event host from as far away as Tampa.

It was just two short years ago, when I can remember saying that it was going to be my goal to either coordinate an event of my own, or be brought on to a production to host an event, and here we are!
