[VIDEO] Line That Sh*t Up: The GoodKnocking Reunion Is Coming Soon

Just When The Storytelling Couldn't Get Any More Vivid, We Brought The Former Hosts of GoodKnocking Reunion Together In Front Of Cameras.

The first teaser of the upcoming GoodKnocking Reunion is finally here, sharing a very small, but huge snippet into the level of in-depth storytelling and revisiting the hosts will be doing for this series.

In the clip, I'm recalling how a normal Sunday night's show easily became not only one of our most notorious shows, but also the moment when the entire team realize how huge of an impact the show was having on campus culture, the student body, and Tampa.

Titled, "The Golden Years: A GoodKnocking Reunion", the series brings back the five on-air personalities, Shante Jeune (then-Earle), Roze Taylor, Paul "DJ BrightLight" Smith, Laura Paul, and myself to revisit how everything took off for GoodKnocking between the years 2010 and 2013. What started off as a web show on a streaming platform called UStream would become my big idea for a radio show, and from there, everything seemed to take off at an almost exaggerated pace.

From segments like "Bump It or Dump It" to "Fail of the Week", there's no doubt that GoodKnocking Radio encountered a lot of smoke, but against what some would call the negatives was a long list of positives like Voter Registration campaigns, a coordinated Unity Walk, being the voice of Brown and Black students at a Predominantly White Institution, and...that one time we finally settled who had the fattest ass on campus (Shante did the measuring).

For years, the story of GoodKnocking seemed like fiction - something some storyteller just made up to talk about his so-called wild experiences. But now, stories align to bring real life perspective, closure, and peace to the three years when a college radio show went from takeoff to laid off.
