Mis Calendar Sus Calendar: The Vivid Life Tour Offers Public Access

Let me start with - And per the usual, The Vivid Life Tour continues.

With the onset of Q4 literally right around the corner, temperatures are getting ready to take a little dip, everyone's doing inventory on their sweaters and cardigans, and lastly Fall event lineups are cooking. That means the next few months get to be a powerful closeout to the year, with all roads leading to Miami for a very special Art Basel weekend.

While dates and releases haven't historically had a central place to live, I am happy to announce the first ever public calendar for The Vivid Life Tour, offering more robust details about upcoming events, event types, and ways that you can take part in the overall experience of places, spaces, and organizations we are supporting.

As seen through the lens of my content, events have a wide range, which is why I've categorized them in a number of ways:

  • Hosted By: Events hosted by Alex Auguste, or general MRVL WRLD-organized events. This would include events like Vivid Nights, or events that have commissioned me to be their entertainer as MC.
  • Performances: Hitting the stage more than ever, events listed as Performances offer an opportunity to see live music and/or spoken word at events that are designated as either open mic or have invited Alex Auguste as a featured performer for a program.
  • Sponsored Events: Sponsored events is a new option for event organizers who are looking to bring the Vivid Life feel to their events, and have submitted their event to be included on the tour calendar. By submitting events, organizers are looking to invite us all to an experience that falls into a shared interest of us all.
  • Experiences: Sometimes, it's not an event. Sometimes, it's not even about a singular space. Sometimes, it's just about getting to go, documenting the overall atmosphere and sharing it all with you. These experiences in the past have ranged from festivals like AfroPunk, FunkFest, Art Basel, and shows like Vintage Thrivals' The Prelude. Promoting these on the calendar will come with private invites and Experience Guides for premium subscribers and more.
  • Around Town: When and where necessary, events that overlap with those listed above may be added to the calendar as an optional view on experiences "of interest".

When submitting events, you're encouraged to fill out our submission form with as much information as possible and provide your contact information so we can get back to you as soon as possible.

Spotlight Events Coming

The GoodKnocking Reunion Tailgate Experience

There was a time in the past when October was a very special time of year, mostly recognizing the anniversary celebration of one radio show that started nearly a decade ago on the campus of USF among four students. This year, for the first time in nearly a decade, Lola, Shante, DJ Brightlight and yours truly return for a hosted tailgate experience at Raymond James on October 14th as the USF Bulls take on the FAU Owls.

As the university and the NCAA announce more details such as kickoff time, there will be a better sense of activities going on on Saturday October 14th, and we'll be sure to add those details in our Around-The-Town category. For now, Millennium Age is hosting a Silent Party that evening at the Aloft Downtown Tampa, which we will keep our eyes to depending on times.

Vivid Nights: Coming November

Following mainly positive feedback from this Summer's Vivid Nights, we are currently planning our next installment of the event. Removing the video premiere aspect of the event, our goal is to continue featuring an instrumentalist, a spoken word poet, and at least two music artists for this unique social experience.

No date is currently locked in, but details about the upcoming Vivid Nights are expected to be released in October with the event taking place in November.

Gas. Flick. Flame: A Content Party To Rave About

We've tossed around the idea long enough. What if we scheduled a content shoot, complete with models, creators, props, and a staging area and it just so happened to turn into one of the dopest parties organically? That concept comes to alive this November for a new concept brought to you by MRVL WRLD called Gas. Flick. Flame. Also in planning stage, this event will invite creators of all types to be and create a vibe that can only be called spectacular.

Our lineup of DJs for the event will be announced first, along with featured creators as we get closer to the launch of this dope new event.

Art Ba-SOUL: The Coilture Freedom Festival

It's not too early to start planning your Art Basel Weekend in Miami. No matter what your weekend brings, be sure to save the date for the Coilture Freedom Festival: Dec. 10th, 2023.

The Festival will take place at the Historic Lyric Theater in Historic Overtown in Miami on Dec. 10th, 2023, a great closeout to Art Basel Weekend that will be full of energy, vendors, artists, and live presentations. More details are to come, and updates to the calendar will be made as they come. Be sure to visit the official website for the festival as it will be the primary base for details in the near future.

For details on these events and more, be sure to visit The Vivid Life Tour Calendar. There is now an option to subscribe to the Calendar, which will allow you to add certain events of your choosing to your iCal, Google Calendar, and Outlook. Be sure to review the instructions to do so.

Stay excited this Fall. Because a lot of dope sh*t is brewing.
