The Close Out: Vivid Life Tour Closes 2022 With Performances, Releases, & Sets

This is it. The official final leg of The Vivid Life Tour 2022.

The close out. The ending. Cue the curtains, Douglas! Mango, get the car started!

What I'm especially excited about with what's to come between now and the end of the year is that this tour can finally and officially return to its origins and what this has always been about.

Last Summer, we had an outlook going into fall that was all about promoting and marketing my books, being booked with events, bringing the vibes with good times and music, and creating content and stories as we enjoy the view and rocking our own apparel - and we are officially back to that almost one year later.

While there isn't a lot on the calendar, these are the events that I'm confident will make 2023 a huge year for impact in my world of writing, recording, events, and creative campaigns.

RESPECT THE MIC ORLANDO - Nov. 17th | Mai Thai

If you've known me long enough, you know that my pen has always...penned. And so, I'll be stepping out to Orlando for Respect the Mic, which has made a long-awaited return to the Magic City after about 5 years. I'll be performing and previewing new music that I will continue to talk and perform through Q4 and Central Florida.

Respect the Mic will be starting at 8pm at Mai Thai (22 E Pine St, Orlando, FL 32801), and will feature one of my favorite headliners - one whom I've had the pleasure of working with last Fall - KB VIBE! Come through, check it out, and let's have a good time.

Purple Tears Launch Event - Nov. 27th | Brio Italian Bar & Grille

Sunday November 27th is going to be quite a special event.

For two years now, I've been working with Dr. Brooke Mobley to bring one very harrowing, brave, and real story to life. I, Too, Cry Purple Tears is a memoir co-authored by Dr. Mobley and I, and recounts her escape from a relationship that nearly cost her her own life and the life of her daughter.

Together, we will be introducing the book as well as Dr. Mobley's new-found organization, the Purple Tears Foundation, which is already well up and running providing donations, resources, and provisions to domestic violence survivors in the Tampa Bay Area.

The event begins at 2pm at Brio Italian Bar & Grille. For more details on Purple Tears and Dr. Mobley's initiatives for survivors, check out the video below and follow the organization on Instagram for updates.

The Vivid Life: New York City - Dec. 6th | Undisclosed

NEW YORK CITY, WASSUP!

As mentioned before, The Vivid Life Tour is getting back to our core, and I've officially been invited to spin for corporate Happy Hour in Manhattan! While this event is closed to the public, I look forward to enjoying the Big Apple and linking with any of my followers/subscribers who are in the area.

MRVL WRLD PRESENTS...SAVE THE DATE

This is much more of a Save-The-Date than it is anything else. Currently, I'm in the process of reviewing final details for a potential event on Dec. 11th, 2022. Currently, nothing is finalized as of right now due to some loose ends, but here are details I can give you for the time being:

• The event will be in Tampa, Florida
• It's very likely the event will be centered around creatives.
• It'll be fun

Beyond that, I can't really say, and I've really been toggling between Elon Musking that sh*t (otherwise letting people see you push a flaming dumpster down hill to oblivion), but I am likely going to have final word for you all in the coming weeks. The beauty is you're subscribed (...right?), so if there's anyone who is going to know, it's definitely going to be you.

MRVL WRLD x ART BASEL 2022 - Dec. 1 - 4th| Miami, FL

And of course, I had to go out of order to give you the best details last. I cannot spend a December without dropping into Wynwood and Miami for Art Basel! So, as we inch closer to those dates, I'll be sure to release a good grand list of events, galleries, exhibits, and socials that I will be either attending or hosting.

If you're not familar, Art Basel visits the Miami Beach Convention Center every year during the first of December. From Miami Beach through Wynwood and the entire art district, events, galleries, and a whole lot of...fun stuff takes place throughout the area as classic art styles and urban art vibes merge in the city to really make everything extremely dope and magical.

As mentioned, what looks light is really big steps in a good direction for myself, MRVL WRLD, and The Vivid Life Tour.

I've been asked about the possibility of adding events to the line up and I want to make sure I address that in this blog. We are absolutely open to adding your events to the line up! Being able to expose new faces to new places is 100% the goal of this campaign, and whether it's me hosting, sponsoring, or amplifying the experience, there is always a way for MRVL WRLD to get involved.

Events should be able to meet the following requirements:

• Date/Time
• Event Graphic with clear location, time, etc
• Affiliate Ticket Sales Channel
