Out With A Bang: The Vivid Life Tour Aims For 150 Days

The Time To Close Out 2023 With A Bang Is Now As A Long List of New Information And Updates Releases

The Vivid Life Tour continues on. And by "continues on", it's not like it's something that ever ends. In fact, the Vivid Life Tour is really an every day thing. It's each and every day whether I'm just popping out on my balcony to water my plants or if I'm 3,000-ft in the mountains outside of San Diego riding a 4x4 with half my body out the window. When you live the Vivid Life everyday is a holiday, every meal is a feast, and every drink is a toast.

I'm now on my 13th Round of event lineups, and this one, for some reason, just feels different. I say it's quite personal. As of today - August 1st - there's approximately 154 days remaining in 2023 and this year has already proven to be different from any other year by a longshot. So, when I say it's personal, I really mean that you're witnessing groundbreaking for a new chapter that just feels right for the present.

For this go around, the focus is Performances & Shows, Live Streams, Releases, Close Friends Socials, and MRVL WRLD-sponsored events. Yeah, man. What that last one means in particular is that you can expect to see another invitation for ViViD Nights coming your way again. After the influx of positive reception we had for the event on June 28th, the plan is 100% to bring it back with reinforcements on all of the elements that you all loved so much. It's the kind of positive feedback you can't take lightly.

From promoting "The Perfectionist" to performing and bring more music and more content and video production to life, I plan on using the next 150 days for not-stop self-promotion and documenting the journey in real-time as it comes.

And so, it's fitting that this run is called: 150 Days Running Under The Influence of Artistic Substance

Or 150 Days Running for short. You choose.

Stream schedules will be posted on a monthly basis with listings for stream locations, links, topics, guests, and the availability for co-hosting and raiding. At present, I'll be slowly moving away from using Instagram as my primary stream platform and moving towards YouTube and Twitch. For anyone who's used the latter, you know that Instagram doesn't leave much for the engagement appetite in terms of peer-to-peer chatting, engagement, and overall ease of use.

But these upcoming streams begin on August 1st at 8pm with Vivid Life Everything On Instagram Live to recap all the fun announcements and details. On Friday, Aug. 4th, I'll be running "150 Pointers for Content Creation", dishing out over 150 hacks, tips, and tricks  - yes, 150. That will be taking place at 12pm EST on YouTube. Then on Aug. 9th, I join Baltimore creator and owner of Vintage Thrivals, Rich Rocket for Wednesday Night Live at 9pm on Instagram Live, where I'll take touring, content creation, and "The Perfectionist".

Streaming will become a regular piece of our next 150 days, and my target is a total of 24 total stream times. So, be sure to subscribe to my YouTube and keep up-to-date with streams via The Videos tag on the site.

Event listings for 150 Days includes performances, shows, and experiences. Come out and see live performances by talent from around the area at open mic shows, or where I'll be featuring/headlining and more. Experiences, specifically events that I'm attending be highlighted in real-time via my stories and will walk you through "the day-in-the-life" of the experience.

Close Friends Socials will be exclusive, invite-only experiences to be boots on the ground, networking with myself and the close network of professionals, creatives, and Vivid Life gang in person. Beginning Aug. 2nd, I'll be performing at Tampa's 7th + Grove for The Vibe Check Open Mic show beginning at 7:30pm. Following that I'll be in Miami on Aug. 7th for Ms. Ingrid B's Mellow Dramatic Mondays at the Historic Lyric Theatre with doors opening at 7pm, and then returning to Tampa for the award-winning Smoken Words at Room 1701.

Some additional callouts include New Peace Mondays on Sept. 4th in Orlando, along with Respect the Mic on Oct. 19th.

Events (and experiences) hosted will begin on Aug. 12th with Close Friends, followed by Sept. 20th and a USF experience for the USF vs. FAU game on October 14th.

Lastly, I will be releasing information and details about the next ViViD Nights at a later date while we continue planning and coordinating space, talent, and staffing. I am looking for day-of staff, volunteers, and vendors for ViViD Nights - both in Tampa and abroad.

Yeah, I said abroad.

After a year full of creative pivots due to changing release dates for prioritized projects, I'm happy to be in a space where I can provide updates on new releases on titles, works, and more.

There have been five (5) specific titles that have been in the works over the duration of the last two years, often times shifting and changing as time goes on. However, with more stability for writing after the release of I, Too, Cry Purple Tears, I'll be announcing more on the releases (and re-releases) of books from the Publishing side of MRVL WRLD.

If "The Perfectionist" did anything, I hope that it created some awareness about the depth and range of creativity I have and am willing to aim for. Secondly, I hope it created an appetite for this style of content that mixes some cinematography, music, and technical finesse. It's wild that it's already been a month since the release of "The Perfectionist", but we're inching towards production of the next video.

The next video will be a video that criticizes hustle culture, using a framework for horror that highlights the phenomenon of Sleep Paralysis.

The follow up, "The Insomniac", is a wild song about the unattainable balance between productivity and recreation while struggling with rest. It's about the back and forth that (in this case) men face when trying to "earn" rest and pleasure through nonstop work, ignoring their physical well-being, and mental health.
