New Dates, Events For The Vivid Life Tour
Featuring New Events, Launches, and Lives, The Final Run for The Vivid Life Tour Is Coming Swinging, Spooky, and On A Level.
This October is kicking off a very special Vivid Life Tour run that's very likely going to change the trajectory of this promotional campaign forever. When we're not home enjoying a good time watching our favorite spooky movies this October, we're going to be linking up, and enjoying the best of Fall festivities both in the Bay and abroad.
This leg of events holds a special listing of events that include Performances by Alex Auguste, Live Broadcasts, Launches & Releases, and Featured Events. While the other speak for themselves, I want to be sure to highlight the Featured events as having me onboard either as a sponsor or a Special Guest.
I want to be sure to note that, as it currently stands, I am not MCing any events this Fall (not even that one event that keeps saying it's coming back, but hasn't).
Oct 10th | Alex Auguste Is...Live On Twitch: "HIM"
So, hear me out: I'm going to be bringing a live broadcast show schedule to Twitch.tv that centers around the Vivid Life, but will also include some storytelling, guests, and topic-based discussions. Sounds familiar, right?
Currently only named Alex Auguste Is..., you can join me Oct. 10th at 9:30pm for a live storytelling of a current work in progress called HIM, which is actually my first ever horror piece that I'm writing. HIM is a paranormal story about the spirit of man whose murder went unpunished and kept a secret after he returned from World War II and began having a series of affairs with married women in the small Middle American sharecropper town of Boggy Creek. When the town eventually grows over the decades and becomes Bellevue, a young Black couple soon find out why so few people have heard of this urban legend, and how it impacts the booming city.
HIM is an ambitious project that I'd prefer to keep to a oral storytelling format for now while I prepare for the roll outs of over 6 new titles in the next year, including The Black Grasshopper and We Missed A Meeting: Some Assembly Required. Hear first-hand some of the background, details, and inspiration behind not only my own creations, but the creative perspectives of guests who join me.
Alex Auguste Is... will begin at 9:30pm on my official Twitch channel so be sure to download Twitch, follow, and subscribe.
Oct. 29th | THEE DEBAUCHERY PRESENTS: The Black Fantasy Ball
Alright, Goblins, Ghouls, and Half-Naked Fools - Halloween is around the corner. I don't know about you, but I haven't been able to fully feel the Halloween spirit since the pandemic. While it's nice to enjoy seeing celebs dress up online, why not spice it up for some fun right here in the Bay?
The first of our featured events for this leg of The Vivid Life Tour will take us to St. Petersburg for The Black Fantasy Ball presented by Thee Debauchery. The Ball is just one piece of an entire week's line up of events that concludes with this Afrocentric event that is a celebration of art, music, and Black bodies. The weekend's line up is in celebration of the short film of the same title's promotional debut beginning Tuesday, Oct. 25th at Studio 620 in St. Pete.
I'll be in the building as a Special Guest for the Black Fantasy Ball, and are inviting you to join us for a experience that you don't want to miss. Bring your squad, bring your partner, and definitely bring the girls to enjoy one of the only safe space Halloween events in the Bay.
Tickets are available now via the official website, and right now the first 100 ticket buyers can receive a $10 gift card. When going for tickets, be sure to click "Apply For Membership", as Thee Debauchery is a members-only organization to foster safe spaces, enrich cultural experiences, and ensure the delivery of the best events in the Bay.
OCT. 18th | Two-Mile Tuesdays
I know. I know. Your knees need a tune up. Nonetheless, by popular demand, join myself and Tampa Bay runners for a group fitness run on Downtown Tampa's Riverwalk for Two-Mile Tuesday. We'll be meeting up at 6pm on the Riverwalk side of Armature Works' lawn for stretching and will be commencing the group run promptly at 6:30pm.
The run specifically covers a 1-mile distance from Armature Works to Curtis Hixon Park on Ashley Drive, a brief break and the 1-mile return to Armature Works. Following the run, feel free to hangout and network with others as we cool down, grab a bite, and mingle.
This is a free event, and does not require any reservations, but feel free to contact me directly with any questions or concerns.
There are dozens of details for what's to come, but of course, we'll keep it brief and give each event and item its own individual post. For now, enjoy these details as we roll into a very beautiful October and very vivid 4th Quarter close out to the year!
The upcoming launch of Vivid Life Apparel on October 24th has me testing out new ways to continually reward your support in unique ways while fostering ways to facilitate networking, community, and growth. After all, you've made your way to my site and/or my email newsletter by having your attention grabbed, right?
As we prepare for launch, I also want to introduce that MRVL WRLD now has a Discord server. In this server you can bypass the inbox bulk and interact with myself and other MRVL WRLD followers to exchange, learn, connect, and create all in one safe space.
