One minute you're in January and the next you're creating a 2023 recap of your year and reflecting on how blessed you've been for the last 365 days. Before I get into the contents of this blog, I wanted to drop this personal note thanking each and every one of my followers and subscribers. Your support and love in 2023 is felt, and I appreciate your presence (via digital spaces and at events), your energy, and your feedback as friends, supporters, and fans of my work. As I reflected on 2023's closing and the opening credits of this new year, I could only think about taking you all along for an amazing ride through another year with biggest goals, bigger obstacles, bigger moments, and of course, bigger opportunities for us to connect, be human, be friends, and grow into our most vivid selves.

Alright, mushy aside. Here is your January 2024 Newsletter.

Well, we've officially crossed into the best part of the year, best part of the zodiac calendar, and the best part of Capricorn Season (can you tell that I'm a Capricorn?). First and foremost, on behalf of myself and MRVL WRLD, I am wishing you a Happy New Year and calling into your life all the blessings, wishes, and riches you desire and deserve. My hope is that your New Year was easy-going and honestly filled with a lot of doing nothing. We deserve that. To do nothing for a day or a night - to take a melatonin, and watch in awe as New Yorkers reveal how far they're willing to go to stand in the front lines of the ball drop.

But as with any year, the feeling of newness should galvanize us and get us excited for yet another run around the sun. I've recently revealed some themes for my 2024 and they are two themes that I can already tell will be carrying my visions and execution throughout the year. In the past years, words like CERTAINTY have stood out, and helped make recent years like 2021 great ones. For 2024, they are SPECTACLE and COMMUNITY.

In a word full of distractions, where it always just seems like the wrong things are getting the megaphone, the concept of Spectacle requires us to put down the so-called Humble Pie and be loud about who we are, what we do, and what we stand for. It's more than just audible noise, of course. It's about walking into the blessings of this year with the good shoes on. Over the top, exaggerated, eccentric, but nonetheless electrifying, this is our year to not just have a moment, but continuously having moments.

Digital communities and digital spaces are cool, and all, but I read a quote that I really loved recently: "I'm dope in real life". Connecting in "real life" means supporting those that are committed to creating spaces for like-minded people, as well as a deeper commitment to bringing our own ideas to life and creating those spaces ourselves. When people lose their spaces of commune, there's a lot more to lose than what we may consider at first.

With these two concepts in mind, I've spent the tail end of 2023 shaping my website to be in complete alignment.

VividLife TV With Alex Auguste

On December 13th, I launched the inaugural VividLife TV with Alex Auguste stream, which went live on YouTube and Twitch. The stream is one part "show" and another part casual conversation that is inclusive of both my guests as well as my audience. Since the kick-off on December 13th, we've had guests drop in including DJ BrightLight and Charree' Graham of Living in Truth Counseling. VividLife TV now streams directly to I AM ALEX AUGUSTE and goes live every Wednesday beginning at 8:30pm.

2024 is a universal 8 year, which in numerology, signifies a year of personal achievement, empowerment, and big financial gain. I wish such a year for all of you, and look forward to all the spectacle we'll create together across 366 vivid days.
